Dr. Steve Sauerberg, candidate for United States Senator, will be the guest speaker at the Kendall County Republican Central Committee meeting on June 16th. In addition, Terri Ann Wintermute from Bolingbrook will be the featured candidate for this month’s gathering. The meeting will be held at the Beecher Center in Yorkville at 7:00pm.
A respected family physician for over 25 years and recognized medical expert, Sauerberg was born in Berwyn and raised in LaGrange. Following medical school and his residency at LaGrange Memorial Hospital, Steve started his own family practice in 1985 and today it is one of the most successful family medicine group practices in Chicago’s western suburbs.
Sauerberg explains his campaign, “My decision to run for the U.S. Senate involved many difficult decisions such as leaving my medical practice, my staff and my wonderful patients. I have never been a candidate for public office and will offer new energy, fresh ideas and true passion for our nation.”
Terri Ann Wintermute is the Republican candidate for the 42nd State Senate District. As a wife, mother, and community leader, she has earned a reputation for being a responsive government servant who connects with voters in this district. Terri has been an elected public servant for the past 14 years. Terri served on the Will County Board in a leadership positionfor 10 years.Terri has held elected office as a Will County Board Member and DuPage Township Clerk.
The meeting will feature a discussion of the Illinois Republican Convention as well as preparations for the upcoming golf outing on July 10th and the “Salute to Veterans” on July 11th. All Kendall County Republicans are welcome to attend.
