All Kendall County Republicans are invited to Ralph’s Place on Monday, April 20th at 7:00pm for the April Kendall County Republican Central Committee meeting.
Senator Bill Brady is a lifelong resident of Bloomington and has served his neighbors in the Illinois State Senate since 2002 and in the Illinois House of Representatives for eight years prior to that.
A successful businessman in the real estate and home construction industry, Brady is a mainstream conservative with a solid reputation for budget expertise and challenging the status quo in state government. Bill was among the Republican leaders in the effort to defeat former Governor Blagojevich’s proposed gross receipts tax – the largest state tax increase ever proposed in the history of the United States.
Gubernatorial candidate Brady understands the concerns people have about state government in Illinois. “We’re asking families and businesses around this state to tighten their belts, live within your means, make due with what you can, and yet government, big government in Illinois, is saying, ‘We need more of your money. We need to increase your taxes.’ Frankly, this is the worst time of all to be doing that given the economic circumstances.”
Senator Brady has scheduled some extra time for discussion with interested Kendall County Republicans before the Central Committee meeting begins.
Ralph's Place is located at 2245 Kennedy Road in Bristol.
